We Loved 2015
What a weekend! Thank you for making it so memorable and to everyone that got behind GBB15 to make it a huge success. Bigger crowds, more stages, more food concessions and activities and a line-up that had doubled in size since last year. All in all a big year and another big step forward in the life of the festival.
Stand out acts were Mallory Knox, Less Than Jake, Michael Calfan and headliner Professor Green with a fantastic variety of superb support acts covering many genres of music. The Night-time Flyboard show introduced a unique visually stunning element to the festival and the Paint Fight was so successful organisers ran out of paint despite doubling the quantity from last year.
Thousands watched the wakeboarding madness for the Harbour Project while Goldierocks pumped out the tunes from the Red Bull ex military soundsystem truck. O’Neill & Butta brought their custom made bus and a stack of cool toys with it supported by the Anitx crew. Stand Up Paddleboarding provided by Offaxis was as popular as ever, especially when the sun came out (which it did a lot over the weekend). Slacklining was a big hit with the R U Slack team getting the festival crowd involved at every opportunity.
The food stalls were plentiful with a fantastic variety of exquisite foods, drinks and sweets on offer and the campsite was once again chilled and relaxing with many taking the short walk to the beach each morning for a refreshing wake-up call!
