Martin Jones and Sam Humphreys are Slapsoul. A young Welsh duo from Nefyn in north Wales who offer something different to the world of acoustic based music.

Together they combine Martin’s Soulful voice along with Sam’s powerfull guitar playing to make a sound that has been causing a lot of impact on the music in Wales grabbing thousands of Youtube hits in days with their original song ’16 Handsome Soul’ in early 2013.

Since then they have gone on to play several successful concerts all over the UK playing amongst the likes of Newton Faulkner, Thomas Leeb and Mike Dawes.

They have also got the support of music companies Lewitt, Vintage Guitars, Fishman Pickups and Logarythm. Securing endorsements deals for these major companies who believe in they band’s music.

Their debut album ‘Strapped for Cash’ is due for release in Spring 2014 along with 5 music videos shot by Saltpool films.
