Professor Green, Less Than Jake, Mallory Knox and more announced


Glass Butter Beach is really gathering momentum with more acts announced for the Llanbedrog and Abersoch based music and action sports festival. Professor Green, Mallory Knox, Less Than Jake, Michael Calfan, Everlast, Rag N Bone Man and many more join the likes of Kosheen, Bondax and Toguna this Summer for this rapidly rising new festival.

PROFESSOR GREEN is a hip hop and rap legend with a mass of top 10 albums and singles including chart topping single ‘Read all about it’. He has worked with the likes of Emilie Sande, Lily Allen, Example and many many more with record sales in their millions in the UK alone. His life is packed with stories that only a full read of his biography can fully justify and has already prompted two Channel 4 documentaries on him. He has a new single out this June and Glass Butter Beach is lucky to be one of his select few festivals this summer.

MALLORY KNOX are the epitome of a ‘break-through’ band. Pushed heavily by Radio 1 and main stage slots at Reading & Leeds and T in the Park have seen this alt rock band catapulted into the limelight world-wide and will join Professor Green on Friday on the main stage at Glass Butter Beach this year.

Joining KOSHEEN on Saturday at GBB15 are ska punk giants LESS THAN JAKE who after 23 years together have graced virtually every festival main stage across the world and amassed millions of YouTube views. This exciting band from Florida are true live entertainers with a big presence on stage.

Another huge legend set to join the main stage at Glass Butter Beach this summer is rap star and singer songwriter EVERLAST. Front man of House Of Pain and known for his huge hits “What it’s Like” and “White Trash” his performance on Friday at GBB15 is going to be much anticipated.

Heading up the dance stage on Saturday is French global ‘soul house’ DJ & producer MICHAEL CALFAN. His new single “Treasured Soul” has landed top 5 and already widely labeled a summer classic.

Joining the above acts are a whole host of new talent and future stars including Rag n Bone Man, Shanty, Megan Dixon-Hood, Delamere, The Eyres, Rinse, Akcadamy, Hot Diamond Aces, Matt Hamer, Blue Nation, Dom Major, John Adams, Sally Crosby, Kazo, The Barefoot Bandit, Romario with many more still to announce.

Before the main entertainment at the festival site the action kicks off over Abersoch’s way on Wednesday 12th August with the ‘Butter Beach Surf’ event at Hell’s Mouth followed by the first of the ‘Abersoch Sessions’ which includes up-and-coming bands & DJ’s playing intimate gigs with a great buzz around local venues. Thursday 13th August sees the action hot up with the hugely popular ‘Harbour Project’ pro wakeboard event in Abersoch inner harbour. Six of Europe’s top riders competing on the purpose built floodlit course; a totally unique spectacle on the high tide at 7:30pm – 9:30pm in the harbour.

Other entertainments are pro skateboarders on the virt ramp, the spectacular madness of the Flyboard & Hoverboarders, surfing, Stand Up Paddleboarding, slacklining, paint fights, fairground rides or just dive into the lush blue waters of Cardigan Bay.

Camping is highly recommended at Glass Butter Beach, always friendly with a great atmosphere and the campsite’s location is pretty spectacular with sea views & just a minute’s stroll onto the beach. Parking is very close by and the festival provides free shuttle buses to get you to & from Abersoch & Pwllheli to add to your overall festival experience.
