In addition to Surfing, wakeboarding, skateboarding & BMX at Glass Butter Beach you can enjoy a whole selection of other great sports to watch or get involved with.  

  STAND UP PADDLEBOARDING: Another great sport that is growing rapidly and available to ‘Have A Go’ at Glass Butter Beach. Known in Hawaii as Hoe he’e nalu, it is an emerging global sport with a Hawaiian heritage. The sport is an ancient form of surfing, and reemerged as a way for surfing instructors to manage their large groups of students, as standing on the board gave them a higher viewpoint.       WINDSURFING: A very popular sport when the wind kicks in on the llyn Peninsula, home to windsurfing legend Farrel O’shea and favourite training grown for champion wave sailor Ben Proffit. Windsurfing will be brought to you by Plas Menai National Watersports Centre at Glass Butter Beach so don’t miss out on this opportunity to get involved in this great sport.   SPACE HOPPER RACING:   And the fun doesn’t stop there, Regardless of your age space hoppers are a great way to enjoy yourself while you are at Glass Butter Beach 2012 . There will be space hopper races organised to take place on the festival beach so look out for the races on the beach. lets see who can hop their way to the finish line first.

  

  BEACH VOLLEYBALL: Beach volley ball is a great game normally played by families in the summer. But wouldn’t it be good to get a giant game together. Well at Glass Butter Beach this year there will be a volley ball net and ball set up on the festival beach so you can have a game of volleyball while the sun goes down.
