Glass Butter Beach is not just about great music and beach culture. We’ve got a whole host of the coolest action sports to stoke up the entertainment during each day. Top professional athletes will be on show for Surf, Wake, Skate & BMX and with no other event like it in Wales, you don’t want to miss out on this.

- Pro Surfing at Hells Mouth
SURFING: Taking place at Hell’s Mouth (Porth Neigwl), one of the most respected surf breaks in the country. We’ve got 16 top riders battling it out for the Butter Beach Pro title
Taking place on Friday 2nd September between 9:30am and 1:30pm. Surfers from as far afield as Australia will be competing for the Butter Beach Pro title and their cut of the prize money.
Don’t miss prize giving on the main open air stage on Friday night at 8:45pm

- Wakeboarding off the beach
WAKEBOARDING: This will take place on the festival’s very own beach with some of the sports best riders.
Competing for the Glass Beach Wake Classic title, riders such as the UK’s Jonty Green & Australia’s Scotty Broome will be thrashing it out for the new title the riders are all after. Junior, Ladies and open categories are also going to be eagerly contested.
The competitions take place on Friday 2nd between 9:30am and 1:30pm and Saturday 3rd between 11:00am and 2:00pm right in front of the festival beach.

- Andy Scott confirmed
SKATEBOARDING: Right in the heart of the festival site in Llanbedrog we’ve got the King Ramps 8ft Midi Ramp and a Flatland set-up with some of the countries best riders showcasing the sport to the highest level.
Andy Scott & Chris Oliver are 2 huge names confirmed to join us at Glass Butter Beach and will be taking full advantage of one of the UK’s most respected ramps positioned in the most spectacular location with the backdrop of Cardigan Bay.

- Sebastian Keep on the 8ft MR
BMX: Joining the skateboarders on the 8ft Midi Ramp and Flatland, we’ve got some of the countries finest BMXers ripping it up for the Glass Butter Beach crowds.
They’ll keep you fixated on the action that starts at 12:00pm and runs through to 8:00pm both on Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd on the festival site in Llanbedrog. Sebastian Keep in particular is a rider to look out for who will be going all out for the glory photo with St Tudwal’s Islands as the backdrop.

Scoot-Mag team riders
SCOOTER: It’s the latest craze on the street that has blown up in a big way and for Glass Butter Beach Scoot-Mag will be joining us with some of the sports most extreme athletes to give you a taste of how quickly this sport has progressed.
Scooter sessions have been programmed in with BMX & skateboard throughout the day showcasing the different aspects of the sport along with ‘Have A Go’ workshops that is your opportunity to get tips and instruction from the sports top riders. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS

Stand Up Paddleboarding
STAND UP PADDLEBOARD: Another great sport that is growing rapidly and available to ‘Have A Go’ at Glass Butter Beach. Known in Hawaii as Hoe he’e nalu, it is an emerging global sport with a Hawaiian heritage. The sport is an ancient form of surfing, and reemerged as a way for surfing instructors to manage their large groups of students, as standing on the board gave them a higher viewpoint.
Now a highly respected sport in its own right it has taken the UK shores by storm and Offaxis will be giving you the opportunity ‘Have A Go’ right through the weekend. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS

Windsurfing for all ages
WINDSURFING: A very popular sport when the wind kicks in on the llyn Peninsula, home to windsurfing legend Farrel O’shea and favourite training grown for champion wave sailor Ben Proffit.
Windsurfing will be brought to you by Plas Menai National Watersports Centre at Glass Butter Beach so don’t miss out on this opportunity to get involved in this great sport.

KAYAKING: Another opportunity for you to get on the water courtesy of Plas Menai, the Sit on Kayaks will be available to ‘Have A Go’ on from Thursday through to Saturday.
